- I have been a working photographer since 1975. The first newspaper I worked for was the Suburban News in Sweet Valley , Pa. , a small weekly with 10 pages. Through my enterprising the paper grew to over 30 pages. I then spent time as a stringer for the Times Leader from 1977 to 1991 before joining the Scranton Times, after 6 months there I returned to the Times leader as a staff photographer until September 2008 when downsizing returned me to freelancing for them. In my years as a photographer I have received many awards for my work and was consistently in the top ten of the PPPA clip contest, won clip contests in the NPPA and was elected to the Who's Who. I am proud to have a following of readers that enjoy seeing my work in the newspaper daily.
